Greeting fellow test subjects. Test Subject 1337 here for Aperture Gaming. They make it, we test it, you play it.

It's time to Blow Off Some Steam with A BOSS Review. I wanted to try to start reviewing games from the other months of the year that I had gotten from steam, since I had started doing this new show. This game first came out in February of this year.

The game I'm reviewing, Unmatched Digital Edition, is based on a tabletop board game that released back in 2019. The idea reminded me of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Famous storybook characters fighting each other in locations from their stories.

The game has the look and feel of a board game, and you can get more boards and other pieces and cards in the DLC.

It's intended for multi-player, but the annoying thing is how you need a separate account for online play.

I do go on a bit about how two older games actually took the time to animate the game pieces. Now, while the score is low, this isn't me saying the game is awful. I admit I've never played a game like this before, and maybe if I tried with other players, things might be different.

But for now, I give it a 6.5 out of 10
