GREETINGS PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET!
I AM LUCHA MAN! And welcome to LUCH MAN Reviews!

Today I do the review of long awaited Metalocalypse Army of the Doomstar movie. Just a heads up, I had a technical issue near the end so the review will have an odd sudden stop.

This film, along with the franchise entirely, is for Mature audiences. Please watch responsibly.

The series started in late 2006, and ran for four seasons. We then got a Rock Opera special a while ago, and now the final chapter of the series is this film. The film takes place right after the events of the aforementioned rock opera.

The plot is that the main antagonist of the series is making the big move to destroy the world. And now, will the prophecy of the band come to pass? As humankinds savior or destruction? You'll have to watch.

The movie hits all the marks with keeping true to the style of the show in look, music, brutal images, and animation. I'm also happy we could get the entire original voice cast back for this.

There are a few odd things about the film. The animation is odd as while I like how it respects and follows the show leading up to this point, but they could have made a few changes in some spots. Also, there is great character growth and development, but some fans may argue that it was rushed for the fil. While others, like me, appreciate how we did see the gradual build up over time in the show, so it seems like now is the time for the characters to finally put in the time and effort to change.

If you have stuck with the series this long, this is a great final encore for the series, and I think it ties in with the final album release. Esp. since they only had two songs in the film

I give it a 9.5 out of 10.
