A much more complicated segment here, mostly because of the inability to finish the battle with all characters alive (due to the low level rule).

Tarantula is not too bad; however, I had to repeat this battle for a few dozen of times hoping I would get the rare drop - Spido Jewel. I had no luck, sadly.

The attempt in the video is one of the worst: the boss refuses to summon its minions until the very end of the battle. What's so bad about it? Simply, when a boss is supported by a far weaker ally, you can kill the boss and leave one of the minions alive. With the boss gone, you don't have to worry about your surviving character being killed when most of the work is done.

Here, however, the minions weren't summoned until the last moment and I had to kill Guy off and risk soloing with Tia. Soloing against Tarantula is just about the ballsiest thing ever as he can both paralyse you and put you to sleep. In addition to that, he knows Stronger and can restore own health quicker than Tia can relieve him of. I got lucky here, with no statuses inflicted on Tia until the boss died. She was put to sleep by the minion but his damage potential was nothing to worry about.

Then there were the clowns, good God! The full-party battles against the two were rather straightforward. The blue one is weak to ice and water, the red one - to fire and lightning. Once they are low on HP, everyone but Tia is killed off and she finished it quite nicely. For these battles, I chose the weakest capsule monster so that it doesn't murder the boss before Tia is alone and no unwanted experience gain is observed.

Then the worst part comes, the party separating in two groups to fight the clowns simulatenously. Once again, Tia has no problems here thanks to her high level, but she cannot be present in the second party!

Either Guy or Selan must gain a level in this battle. To achieve the lowest possible level, Selan must survive this one, because she will level up to lv. 18 against Idura anyway (I checked). This scenario happens to be a lot harder, too, as Selan can't survive shit.

The clown always moves faster than anyone else, meaning you have to guess what he's going to do without having the chance to act accordingly to the situation. Guy with Blaze Attack and the capsule monster reduced his HP quickly and it was time to kill Guy off, even though the battle just started. But Selan cannot handle a spell when standing alone, even with the best possible MGR (magic resistance) setup. I had to take two turns casting the IP spell that slightly increases it. As you can see, she barely survived and then cast the finishing spell.

Well, that sums up the second segment. Anyone who's played the game should remember what exactly the next boss will be.
