The party has arrived in the town of Epro in search of Power Oil, which Professor Raile needs to make their ship fly. The route to the cave where the oil can be found has been blocked by a landslide, but there may be a way to get there through submarine routes. The party has acquired the Oil Key from Hedge north of town, which will be needed to gain entry to the Oil Cave.

It is a long way to the Oil Cave, and there is nowhere to rest before the boss. Be prepared with HP and MP healing items.

Now, starting from Epro, they make their way to the Oil Cave. In a bay to the north of Epro, there is an eddy that they must use (time 2:59). This takes them to an underwater section of the northwestern continent.

Around to the east of the eddy, there is an entrance to the Epro Underwater Cave (time 3:55). This is similar in concept to the caves underneath Ring Island, but thank Arek there is only one cave here. They arrive in the southeast of the cave. The first head north towards the northeast chamber.

In the northeast chamber, there are chests containing a Power Potion and a Big Arrow (time 5:16).

In the southwestern portion of the floor, the party can ride the southernmost current to reach the southwestern chamber (time 8:34).

In the southwestern chamber (time 8:38), chests contain an Ex Potion and an Ex Bomb (time 9:34).

On the way out, Jerin reaches Level 37 (time 10:16).

Back in the southern hallway, the party can use the middle current to leave the southwest corner (time 11:16). They go back to the east.

Just west of the entrance, they take the hallway north. They find a chest that contains a Mystery Pin (time 12:12).

To the north, a doorway leads into a central chamber (time 12:18). The chest within contains a Miracle.

Back outside, they ride the nearby current to the south (time 12:27).

Past this current, a chest contains a Hi Magic (time 13:15).

The party makes their way back around to the north. Along the way, Max reaches Level 43 (time 13:52).

West of the central chamber, past a path that leads north, there is another current that flows west (time 15:12). It can be used to reach the chest that contains the Power Gourd (time 15:19). However, the party must sail around it to the south to get the chest that contains a Magic Guard (time 17:38).

On the way toward the exit, Aguro reaches Level 40 (time 18:45).

The path leading north from the central area goes northwest to the exit. Near the exit, the last chest in this cave contains a Grand Blade (time 19:07). Hanging onto this might be a good idea.

Afterwards, the party leaves the underwater cave (time 19:12).

After they exit, Lufia reaches Level 42 (time 19:43).

To the west, they find the eddy that leads back to the surface (time 20:02). They are now in an enclosed central area on the continent. Landing right away, they can walk around to the north.

After crossing a toxic marsh, they will find the Oil Cave entrance (time 23:25). Watch out for Rock Golems, which can turn party members to stone.

The door just inside the Oil Cave requires the Oil Key from Hedge.

In the second chamber, a chest contains 850 gold (time 23:42).

In the third chamber, a chest on the northwest plateau contains a Dragon Arrow (time 23:49).

In the northern depression, the chest contains a Hi Bomb (time 24:57).

On the middle western plateau, there is a chest containing a Dragon Tooth (time 25:06).

On the plateau just above the bottom, the party can turn east. In the northeast of this plateau, there is a chest containing a Big Arrow (time 26:44).

Atop the northeast plateau, a chest contains a Miracle (time 27:51).

In the southeast, there is a chest containing a Dragon Ring (time 28:55). In the toxic marsh, there is a hidden Hi Magic (time 29:04).

In the southwest, the stairway leads down to level B2 (time 29:29). The party will finish exploring the Oil Cave in the next video.
