This playthrough is from the Sega Saturn version of the game, which was never released in English. It's almost exactly the same as the PS1 version, except that its music is arguably better-sounding and its FMVs are lower quality (the voice acting sound volume is ridiculously low during cutscenes - so much so that I always cranked up the volume during cutscenes - but is otherwise normal during gameplay). Otherwise, two of the four optional post-game dungeons present in the PS1 version are apparently not in here. I unfortunately did not take the time to check. The post-game story and its related dungeons are all here, though. Lunar 2 is Lunar. If you loved the first game, you'll love the second one. It's almost exactly the same as its predecessor, both in gameplay and graphical terms. There's still a cat chilling in the back during fights, but Nall was more helpful than Ruby is! I like that the game takes place a few hundred years after the events of the first game, and that some characters from the first game are mentioned and some even come back. The script is well written and funny, the cast of characters is charming (Jean FTW!) and there is a ton of lore in here, but I did not take the time to talk to many NPCs as it considerably slows the pace down when we play games in Japanese. The game is challenging without being overly difficult (*coughwdcough*), and is overall just very pleasant to play. The next and final game to play would be Sanposuru Gakuen (Walking School) for Game Gear or its Saturn remake, because I am not touching Dragon Song for DS!
