Castlevania goes 16-bit! A fan-favorite in the series, Super Castlevania IV feels fresh despite being quite similar to its predecessors. Gone is the "choose a path" from Castlevania III, but now you can whip up, down, and diagonally! You can also do this little woowoowoo kinda soft twirling movement to hit incoming enemies. Stairs are not a problem anymore. The game is also mostly easier, but it's still quite challenging and the final boss is a pain, again. Ignore my frustration in this video, please. XD I think I played too many Castlevanias in a row. The soundtrack is fantastic. The Japanese title, "Akumajou Dracula", is again the same title the original had, as well as the arcade version!
