Lunar Lander 1 and 2 for the Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer
Lunar Lander 1 and 2 for the Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer, were two of the earliest games written by Chris Latham, who would later go on to create Donkey King, and Sailor Man, two of the greatest games ever made for the Color Computer 1 and 2.
Lunar Lander is a clone of the Atari arcade game of the same, name, where you must safely land a vessel on the surface of the moon, and deal with the challenges of gravity, thrust, momentum, inertia and some physics.
If you land safely, you get points, and get to keep playing, if you crash, you die and the game is over.
There were two different versions of this game, Lunar Lander, and Lunar Lander II, each with some subtle differences, and both very fun to play.
