If Chapter 10 didn't make your head explode, hopefully this one will :) In chapter 11 we are going to learn how to manipulate string variables. We will combine various string variables to create new ones, ala sentence creation, but also look at how to dissect a sting variable, by discovering how long a string is with the LEN statement, reading the left part of a sting with the LEFT$ statement, read the right part of a string using the RIGHT$ statement, and even skim through the center of a string variable using the MID$ command. Combining string variables is accomplished using the + symbol to add them together.
