Man, I've been giving the Ragin' Cajun quite a workout over the past couple of months be it source or MUGEN.

Anyway, I was randomly roaming the newest released characters on a whim when I found... this. Imagine my surprise and fanboy-ish glee when I found that a new Gambit has been release and by Kamekaze, no less. This MVC2 Gambit is just what I've been waiting on for a long, long, LONG time. It plays pretty good and ACTUALLY HAS A DECENT CAJUN EXPLOSION to use! Forgive me if I'm being a bit over the top, but I can't help my excitement on this one.

Tears of joy aside, I do have a small issue with the comboing on the 6-button mode (you have the option to play with 4-button MVC2 commands or normal 6-button command). I find it unusually hard to chain a ground MP to to a ground MK as if that chain doesn't exist. Also, the button setup for the advance guard is the HP+HK rather than the usual two (or three) punches which is kind of odd, but equally as minor. This was more of a quick glance as I was more or less skimming through the character, but other than that, it's the Gambit of my dreams... at least until someone tells me otherwise. :P

For my sparring partner to test him out, I fight against my most hated, yet most repsected opponent from MVC: Jin Saotome by Thomas Hsieh. Beside, I owed him this match, personally.

Me: MVC2 Gambit by Kamekaze
Opponent: Jin by Thomas Hsieh
Stage: Neo St. Petersburg
BGM: Jin's Theme (Marvel vs. Capcom)

========================
Vucious' Random Rant: I've just noticed. I've been on a bit of an MVC binge as of late... I need to get back to expanding more into other games. The need of an recommended arcade emulator begins to grow yet again. However, knowing my lazy ass, I probably won't get to it until the next time I think about it. Which could be the next several months... approximately.
