It's pretty much exactly what it says on the label, so nothing special here. However, I chose to do single round matches (except for one fight) to make the fights as close to the original as possible, more or less. Well, as close as MUGEN allows it to be, so yeah.

Anyway, the stars of this rush are my SNK group of fighters. So Kim, Yuri, Daimon, and K9999 are going up against the final bosses of each of the four MvC tag games to date, nothing more, nothing less. Oh, and for the record, this is independent of any other possible MvC-based events that may be going on right now. This was planned before any knowledge of prior events. Of course, I'd bet good money that no one will believe me... friggin' blind assumptions.

Match #1: Yuri vs. Apocalypse (N64Mario)
Stage: Apocalypse...NOW! (XvsSF version)
BGM: Boss Intro ~ Apocalypse (X-Men vs. Street Fighter)
Match Notes: Fight handicap was set to 250% to extend the fight. Other than that, nothing else worth noting.

Match #2: Daimon vs. Cyber Akuma (or Mech Gouki or Techno Demon or whatever the hell you want to call him...) (MystikBlaze)
Stage: Apocalypse...NOW! (Cyber Akuma ~ MSHvsSF version)
BGM: Theme of Gouki (MSH vs SF)
Fight Notes: Fight handicap set to 150%. Man, is the Mechanical One an opportunistic competitor; borderline block-whore.

Match #3: K9999 vs. Onslaught (Xslaught)
Stage: NYC Skyline ~ Onslaught's Stage
BGM: Onslaught I & II (Marvel vs. Capcom; built into the character)
Fight Notes: The fight was forced into going to three rounds due to incomplete fight in single rounds. I couldn't believe how much trouble the Sentinel helper was during the battles, but more so about Onslaught's second form and his Eye Laser and "Mighty Hand" spamming. Also, something should be done about this "Round Three" announcer glitch in regards to Onslaught; it can get annoying to the ears.

Match #4: Kim vs. Abyss (Sludge)
Stage: Abyss (stage edit)
BGM: Abyss Battle 1-3 (Marvel vs Capcom 2)
Fight Notes: No handicap changes. I fought Sludge's Abyss before as Yuri, but it was deleted as it wasn't the Abyss I wanted to face at that time (Xslaught's). This is more or less a "make-up battle." I pretty much used the exact same strategy as I did with the Yuri/Abyss fight in the past and spammed weak attacks thanks to the super armor, so genericness ensues as the first two forms were simple enough. However, for the third form, it got all kinds of sloppy. It could be a combination of weird hitboxes on Abyss or my own missed opportunities/bad timing on moves that made this longer than it had to. Oh well, it could have been worse (not so much as whatever critcs may care, of course).

====================
Vucious' Random Rant: I had three things I wanted to say in this section, but I've typed long enough, so I'll just say this one thing: Hooray for work holidays and time off... VACATION TIME! HOO HAH!!!

Off the record, the other two things I did wanted to talk about were lamenting the lack of VGM internet radio stations nowadays and a small annoyance regarding the regional naming of Akuma/Gouki, but that's another day.
