Well, let's see if I can put this new time extension to some use. This is the third and final recorded playthrough that I had from a video recording session a while back (MVC and MVC2 were the first two). I'm now doing a full playthrough of the first Power Stone game for the Dreamcast (...once again). I do this run as my favorite character in the game, Wang Tang.

Wang Tang was the first character that I got acquainted with (besides usual beginning character choice, Falcon) and he was an instant keeper. The man is very quick and agile; he's nicknamed the "Agile Dragon" for a reason. He has extraordinary jumping ability, and his moves when running on walls and spinning on poles and such are something wicked. Not to mention that his stage theme is one of my favorites, if not THE favorite. Also, about his abilities when he gains all the Power Stones... it should be safe to say that I like them. However, I like them NOT because of what you might think. After all, it's obvious where his looks and abilities are copied from, right? Regardless, Wang Tang's my boy, and that's all that needs to be said.

Anyway, as I said this is a full runthrough of Power Stone, but keep in mind that the settings have been adjusted from normal. All moves are set to the highest possible damage possible and the difficulty is only slightly above normal (level 5 out of 8). Also take note that these settings haven't changed in years; it's been a while so I just chose not to bother changing anything. Take that for what you will.

With all that said, enjoy this video in what may be a decent slew of full length playthroughs. Of course, that depends on other factors, but that's besides the point. Seriously, like I already said, enjoy.

Stage Notes:
-Stage 1 - Ryoma: First stage, easy fight; the same tradition as always. Despite some misses with the Big Dragon Ball, the swordsman went down quickly enough.

-Stage 2 - Wang Tang: A clone match with a very mobile WangTang is nothing to snuff at, even early on. He can be a hard target to hit at times. However, even though he can be mobile in an early match, it's still an early match. He falls promptly.

-Stage 3 - Galuda: Galuda is durable and normally would be one of the fiercest opponents to fight. However, since it's still relatively early, his AI doesn't activate and he becomes a breeze to deal with.

-Stage 4 - Ayame: This delicate little flower here is acutally my second favorite character. Why? She's a ninja (when all Power Stones are gathered), and I like ninjas... DO THE MATH! It helps that she also has my other favorite stage theme. However, she's extremely frail without the help of the Power Stones. So when I get them first, I have to break the cutie, so to speak. Yeah, it was a quick one.

-Stage 5 - Jack: Take a wild guess who this freaky little man is based. Really though, at this point, things begin to heat up. The bandaged, knife-wielding psycho becomes a crafty, little monkey as he jumps around the battle arena making him tough to hit. He definitely got his licks in, but you should know what happens in the end.

-Stage 6 - Gunrock: Now, Gunrock and I have a bit of history. This is mostly because Gunrock is my cousin's favorite character and we face off a lot with me mostly being who I'm playing now. So I'm quite familiar with his tactics... and they are mostly beating the crap out of you with brute force. For the biggest and strongest character, Gunrock still has some moves of his own, and with the Power Stones, he'll beat your as with stones of his own! Hell, his own body is used as a massive rolling boulder. Then again, a couple of Dragon Dance misses didn't help much.

-Stage 7 - Kraken: Now, we reach the boss fights. This crazy pirate can be a real hassle if you don't keep on him. With his grappling hook arm and plenty of bombs at his disposal (w/Power Stones), the guy is a menace that needed to be put down. It doesn't help that his cannons and swinging anchor in the background make things more tedious. Anyway, I put him down; simple as that, kinda. On a different note, BEST DEATHCRY EVER!

-Stage 8 - Valgas: Hoo boy, Valgas. If you want a fight, this sonuvabitch with give you a fight. He has all the best moves (including LAZORZ!!!). However, he does have one problem. He tends to go to the air a lot while firing semi-seeking energy balls while equipped with the Power Stones. It leaves him open while landing.

-Final Stage - Valgas (Final form): This monter is bad news if you don't take advantage of a safe spot as he has an large arsenal of damaging attacks. Care to guess what I do to beat him?
