Man, oh man. This one was a doozie. Reimu returns for her second fight against a little girl with the firepower of a major country. (I could say "Third World" country, but that would be a bit too touchy a subject). Seriously, Disrupter by Kaixa is one totally screwed up Shiori edit. With enough projectiles to make Touhous like Reimu blush, she can litter the whole screen with ice attacks and missles. Not to mention that her speed is wild, and she has extremely annoying dangerously powered specials and supers (with a special cameo by the Blodia Punch). This is the kind of character that shouldn't be taken lightly in battle.

Now, for the controversial part of using Reimu to begin with as I might not have addressed this when I first got her; especially when she is nearly source accurate (thank goodness she doesn't have those life-regenerating spellcards). Remember, "Project: Category 2" searches out characters from multiple games that are compatible with MUGEN, and Touhou characters are no exception despite their mechanics clash with their over-projectile use. With that being said, the main reason for having her is to play and beat characters with as little projectiles as possible. The only limitations are her special moves, super moves, and her C button projectiles as they are combo finishers. Any other projectile use, particularly from a distance, is mostly due to a failed special move attempt (usually a failed teleport kick).

With all that said, how in the world can I beat a Touhou-calibur spammer when I have to not use any of Reimu's normal distance projectiles? Simple, find any opening available and try to take advantage with whatever you have, particularly a super, if available. This one was a true fire-fight, and highly annoying.

Oh yeah, that's right. Since Reimu doesn't get much screen time, yet, I think that I will display her WindStreaker palette, just for kicks.
