The ability for machines to transfer money between each other will fundamentally change the way we interact with the world and how the machines that make up the world interact with each other. In this talk I'll introduce the audience to the concept of trust-less value transfer in a way that is easily understood by those outside of the DLT space.

I will discuss benefits and challenges of this new technology, specifically focusing on the challenges of buildng a open source technology with the correct stewardship and governance. We'll look at the flag ship wallet project with the IOTA ecosystem to contextualise these challenges and talk about solutions which will ensure its development into the future.
