All is Lost Forever

Drive Max back to Chumbucket's original workshop. Here, Max finds Chum bleeding on the ground. Stank Gum emerges and reveals that they tortured Chum for information about Max; unfortunately, they know about Hope and Glory and intend to hurt them. Get ready to fight.

Stank Gum is one of the swift, defensive types, similar to Tenderloin. The best way to defeat him is by getting perfect parries and landing as many heavy hits on him as possible. Before Max lands the last blow on Stank Gum, the Scrotus lackey reveals that Scrotus has gone to kill Hope and Glory back at Deep Friah's stronghold. Max finishes off Stank Gum in the cut scene and exits Chum's old hideout.

Head back to Deep Friah's stronghold. During the drive, Chum will constantly try to apologize. Once Max gets to the stronghold a cut scene will play. Max will furiously drive out into the Wasteland.
