Mad Max Interceptor at Claremont Street Machine Show 2022
36Awesome, check out the Mad max Interceptor from the 1979 Action / Sci-Fi Australian Film - Mad Max. This Mad Max interceptor was at the West Australian Street Machine Spectacular 2022 presented by the West Australian hot Rod Promotions Inc on the 26th - 27th of November 2022 at Claremont Show Grounds, Perth WA.
The Interceptor is based on the 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT hardtop with a 351 Cubic inch 5.8lt V8 engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The Ford Falcon hardtops have always been a sort after vehicle with its fat arse rear end and the classic muscle car stance on the road. It dominates and it no wonder why this XB GT was the choice for the Interceptor.
There were original two of these Interceptors made but one was destroy and the other was used for Car Events. In later movies, there was another called Razor Cola as well.
This Cult Classic Australian Film stared Mel Gibson as Mad Max and Steve Bisley as Tim Goose. Which was awesome that event had Steve Bisley show for the Car Event over the weekend for fans.
