Into Madness

While Max and Chum plan out their plans for the Magnum Opus’ engine, Chumbucket’s hideout is attacked by Stank Gum’s Legion. Explosions erupt from all sides. The pair jump into the car and escape the flames, but with Chum’s workshop destroyed, the two will need to find new shelter and a workshop. Drive to Jeet’s stronghold, but be sure to stop at Vantage Outposts to reveal all the objects in the terrain and explore areas for scrap and supplies.

Jeet will begrudgingly let you in once you reach his stronghold. He knows Chumbucket, but he isn’t fond of him. Jeet thinks Max is crazy for wanting to go to Gastown, but makes a deal with Max. Jeet's resources will be made available to Max if he can reduce Scrotus' influence in the area, but first, he requests that Max takes a look at The Jaw before seriously thinking about going to Gastown.

Before you take off, however, you need to construct a sniper rifle. Gather the trigger mechanism for Chum then test out your new weapon. Afterwards, drive to Dead Barrens Pass. While you make your way to the pass, be sure to take out Scarecrows to reduce Scrotus' threat in Jeet's territory.

Take out two snipers that are positioned at the lighthouse at Dead Barrens Pass, then drive up to the entrance. Before you exit the Magnum Opus, Chumbucket will shoot his harpoon at the building. Quick pull the harpoon, then climb up the structure. Once you're at the main platform, take a right and climb up the ladder. Grab the scrap (1/5), then climb back down to the main path. Before taking a right into the structure, go down the latter to the left of the skull paintings on the container to find some scrap(2/5). Head back up and continue on into the structure.

Get ready to take of a few enemies. A shielded enemy will charge Max. Evade his attacks and try to hit him from behind. Once defeated, you can pick up his weapon and use it to take out his comrades. This area has plenty of goods, including scrap (3/5) to the right of where you entered, a historic relic in the back room on the right, a water spot just past that, and the last bit of scrap (4/5) just past the water hiding in a corner on the side of the structure facing the road.

Run up the stairs and climb the winding path to reach the lookout point. You'll find some sniper rounds on your way up. When you enter the lighthouse, go down the stairs and a latter to find the last scrap(5/5) in the area. Climb back up the lighthouse and scout out The Jaw. With that done, return to Chumbucket to complete the mission.
