27Mittelborg is a game of many different styles with the ultimate goal of defending a mystical tree from destruction from unseen powers and unnamed enemies.
Mittelborg is a mystical floating city in the centre of the Universe itself and The World Tree is key to the survival of all things. At our defence are mages, the militia and a magical shield.
As the game progresses, we earn Aether, a form of magical currency, which we have to use to repair any damage and upgrade various districts in the city.
Also, death is not the end! Upon meeting our demise, we are reincarnated but keep some of our powers from our previous existence, so giving the game a nice sense of continuity.
NOTE: This is the Early Access version of the game.

You are a chancellor of Mittelborg, the crucial city for the balance of all existing powers in-between worlds. There is the Ancient Order of Magicians in the city, called Viates. They have been protecting the numerous connected worlds and watching for the World Tree since the beginning of time.
The World Tree is a mirror of equilibrium of all powers in world. It is woven of the invisible divine fibers. When it flourishes, it exudes power. It gives all Viates magic and energy to prevent the chaos in the Universe. As the last chancellor disappeared during one magical expedition, the World Tree keeps fading away. The mighty of Viates oozes with the vitality of the World Tree too. It leads to the massive imbalance of the sacred source of powers and outbreaks of mysterious mortal storms. Tempests roar across worlds, bringing damage and destruction, spreading fear in hearts, knowing no mercy, erasing everything on their way.
Your magical power is in reincarnation after death with all memories and skills saved. Use your advantage and start over again. Develop your strategy. Try different tactics and find one matching your style, train your logic in quests. Replaying is truly the key to progression because every round you find out new story
details, craft new kind of potion or find a helpful artefact, gather a powerful arsenal of spells and expand the armory. Mages are awaiting the command to head off to numerous magical worlds and miraculous adventures.
The struggle is on, embrace it and survive in Mittelborg!
