I'll be honest, MagiCats Builder was kind of a mixed bag.

On one hand, I do like the fact that it seems mostly built on letting users craft their own levels, and then let them play those levels. On the other hand however...let's be frank, the reason why most people aren't in game development is because they suck at level design. Some of the levels I've had the misfortune of playing are either so uninspired, or just flat out broken to the point that I wonder how they even passed in the first place.

The graphics and music on the whole evoke a nice, light-hearted and cheery tone. However, the platforming itself needs work. I grip walls when I don't want to, and the platforming feels way too slippery, leading to me overshooting jumps way too often.

Also, I own the Best Of, which is a separate paid standalone game, and yet somehow I don't seem to get customisation options that presumably owning that game would give me. What gives? At some point I felt that this game wasn't quite ready to leave Early Access yet.

And I still couldn't even find out what was in the Infinite Pack either.
