I'll be frank. I'm not entirely sure I like the current balancing state of To Hell with Hell at the moment. Although the lowest difficulty (which is the only difficulty you have by default) allows you 6 save spots at various intervals, it's actually pretty brutal, probably a bit too much so. The game throws a whole lot of enemies at you, and you're at the mercy of your weaponry - if you can't loot good items and masks, you'll die.

Compared to other giants of the genre, this is even more slower-paced than Enter the Gungeon. The masks are cool, but the enemies can be way too tanky for your weapons, meaning a lot of kiting. The environmental hazards are also annoying as hell, too, and it's difficult to consistently dodge these all while trying to dodge even more enemies that are on your screen.

This is in Early Access still though, so there's hope that they'll balance it out slightly better. Right now the pixel art and the mask concept barely gets this a recommend in its current state, but at the moment I'm just itching to play more Gungeon.
