Magician is one of those love-hate kind of games. It's also one of those rare games where the only thing better than winning is losing. I mean, some of the ways you lose in this game are classic. I miss the days when you can get too comfortable drinking Goat Milk and the bad guys destroy the kingdom the next day due to your inactivity... or risking your very life to cast an unknown spell that has an 80% chance or greater of killing you in a gruesome manner. You know, stuff like disintegrating and getting blown away by the wind or turning into a pile of bones, or getting blown apart, leaving only your now empty boots, etc.
Paul sure has a lot to put up with in his quest to defeat Abadon. Without careful planning and some good foresight, you may never see the end of this game, since some portions can be brutally hard. You know a game is tough when you have a sort of Resident Evil style save system with limited saves back in the early 90's. Enjoy.
