Challenge of the Dragon Game Sample - NES (Unlicensed)
Original Air Date: April 1st, 2009
Challenge of the Dragon is a funny game developed by Color Dreams in 1990. Dan Burke, John Dywer, Jon Valesh, and Dan Lawton are the ones credited for this game. It's not a TERRIBLE game, but there are so many better titles for the NES within the same genre that it's basically unacceptable.
As you assume control of Sir Burkelot (which sounds much like Dan BURKE), you must rescue Lady Ninita (the name bearing a similar resemblance as Dan Burke, but this one is for Nina Stanley, another big name at Color Dreams) from the wicked wizard, Deniwind. Armed with nothing more than a random assortment of Dragon-style kung fu moves and magic, you get to beat up ninjas, valkyries, lizardmen, and other strange foes. The game is very easy. This video contains the story and the first two levels. Enjoy.
