Mahindra S201, the upcoming SUV will be constructed on the SsangYong Motor’s X100 platform. Mahindra and SsangYong are working jointly and adding to it, Mahindra and SsangYong jointly working on all-new 1.5-litre Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection engine. Mahindra S201 SUV based SsangYong Tivoli in Works, Similar to the Tivoli, the Mahindra S201 will get a new 1.5-litre TGDI petrol engine. A Magazine reported that “Mahindra is all set to get the licensing rights for the X100 platform. However, SsangYong has three independent directors and all have to approve this move from its parent company.”
After getting fame in global markets, Mahindra is preparing to spin off SsangYong’s compact SUV s201, Tivoli in India. Designed for the youngsters, the upcoming SUV cuts design signs with XIV-Air and AIV-Adventure concepts. Also containing SsangYong’s new generation project language, Tivoli’s Exterior is attractive SUV. Talking to a report delivered, Mahindra & Mahindra is functioning on yet another compact SUV for Launching in India. Which is likely to power the S201 SUV. The vehicle is expected to be launched in the country in 2018-19. S201 will get an all-new exterior styling but platform and mechanism will be the similar used in the Tivoli. We know that the Tivoli also gets a 7-seater XLV imitative. Acceding to that information Mahindra S201 will get a 5-seat or 7-seat choice in the country.
