You wake up in a haze at the edge of a corn field with no recollection of where you are, who you are or how you came to be there. Instructions on the screen will help to guide you with things like walking... inspecting you items and a constant reminder that Q does nothing.
After picking up seemingly useless trash and a gloved human hand. Solving a couple of quick puzzles Then putting everything in just the right place. you can finally unlock the door to the underground lab you didn't even know you needed to get into. But not before being stopped by a whole bushel of talking cornstalks.
Once inside the underground laboratory you quickly begin to learn about Bob and Ted the 2 scientists who ran the top secret operation. Bob, a seemingly half witted man full of life and luster seeks to turn the entire facility into a tourist attraction and Ted, who has no problem telling Bob how he feels about the ever growing amount of lobbies and commissioned statues placed throughout the property
Now that you've familiarized yourself with the place its time to build your very own wise cracking Russian robotic teddy bear. He hates pretty much everything about his surroundings and isn't to fond of you either but still he's willing to do pretty much anything you ask of him.
You'll continue solving puzzles and unlocking new passages eventually deterring a US military drone strike with your sick dance moves and a little help from your friends. Ultimately setting the corn free in their rocket disguised as a silo
Maize is developed by finish line games and is built with the unreal engine. Its beautiful to look at, runs smoothly and supports the use of a controller
so if you like exploring top secret underground corn DNA manipulation facilities with an angry robotic Russian talking teddy bear.... than maybe this is the game for you.
