Make a Good Mega Man Level III has just come out as of this week. This time around, I don't want to wait on uploading videos even if that means pushing back MM4 a bit.
When I tried the MaGMML2 series back in 2017, I went a bit nuts adding in text boxes and voice. This was a poor plan because I burnt out on it pretty quickly, especially when Camtasia decided to fight with the video making process. This time around, we're on Sony Vegas which handles these recordings better, and I have a better gameplan. We'll do what was done with the Dragon Quest vid and go sparse on the commentary.
In this first video, that idea is taken to the extreme because the gameplay has enough text for us that you'll only be seeing my boxes pop up at the start, title screen, right after the opening cutscene finishes, and at the very end.
Will this one work out? I hope so! That said, don't expect videos every day here or in any sort of pattern. Between this and the upcoming Tier 1 footage, we had over two hours of recorded material! In the meantime, let's make this a series that reaches the finish line (or I'm never trying a longform series again). Yep.
