MAKE NATURAL GAS FROM OIL USING MAGMA - Oxygen Not Included Automation Upgrade
201In this episode of Oxygen Not Included Automation Upgrade I use magma and metal plate to turn oil into natural gas. Oil turns into petroleum at 399.9 C and petroleum turns into natural gas at 538.9 C. Magma is usually over 1400 C. Using this process you get almost 40 times the amount of energy out of the oil vs. refining it first and burning the petroleum.
It is a slower process though and eventually the magma will cool below 538.9C but it should last good amount of time.
