Making a Comic with Bob
Music: Future Gladiator by Kevin MacLeod http://incompetech.com/
Want to make a comic, manga, comic strip or webcomic, but didn't really know the process? I'll show you how.
I am making a comic book titled Alamos, and I walk you through the process from tools, thumbnail sketch, pencils, physical inks, digital inks and color. Whether you are doing inks with a marker, brush pen or Wacom graphics tablet, I give you a brief rundown of the process. I also show a time-lapse sequence of me inking a panel from my comic book in progress.

About Alamos:
Alamos is the name of my comic book in progress, which will be ready to send to Createspace in about 3 months or so. It is a story of a formerly abandoned town inside a top-security military base, populated by animal humanoids. The animal humanoids were the product of an aborted military program, and when the program was canceled they were just sort of dumped in the ghost town of Alamos with regular supply drops and told not to leave the base. A space alien crashes nearby, unbeknownst to the military, and he introduces himself into the strange little culture of Alamos.
Despite the relatively heavy premise of military genetic experimentation, I plan for the comic to be lighthearted and comedic with occasional deep philosophical and mythological undertones. Basically I wanted the comic to be sited in a town full of talking humanoid animals, and the military experimentation is just my premise for that. ;)
I will post an update when the comic reaches publication. I am also thinking of doing a kickstarter for it.
