For whatever reason I've had Dwarven models and Kraftwerk songs on the mind all day. What an odd combination! Almost like concocting a model out of a golem, lava, and an evil dwarf.
Both ideas work, by the way.
It's a unique looking model, to say the least. Infernox aren't unique units either, so if you want to field a pile of them, hey, more power to you! You could probably get away with hand waving them into a scifi setting too, I'd imagine. Just need a few guns or cannons strapped on him, which I'm surprised there aren't any already there, to be honest.
I did double check on Mantic's site- that Iron Caster card was supposed to be included. Don't know why, but I've slowly but surely acquired a nice selection of unit cards to choose from, should we have the opportunity to play again in the near future.
Like most of Mantic's recent resin releases, our Infernox friend was an easy piece to work with. If Mantic wants to keep putting out resin models of this quality, I'll be happy to oblige them!

Mantic has the full rules to their skirmish game Vanguard available for free on their website Take a look!
