Well, technically, they'd be more like Guncannons, not Gundams. A common misconception. And more specifically, the early type Guncannons as opposed to the later more mass produced variants or the one on the White Base. But we're getting off topic, aren't we?
Dweghom continue to bring the heavy armor and the heavy weapons to the battlefield of Conquest. Not content with big blades, these guys ditched the hand ballistas for big cannons strapped to their shoulders!
I love everything about them except their bare arms. It looks silly. I painted mine in jump suits. The heads remind me of Final Fantasy IV's Cid, which in turn wanted me to paint them like FFIV's dwarfs. It looked odd. Maybe I can find a happy medium?
These guys were also a bit of a chore to build. It felt like a lot more parts compared to some of the other kits, perhaps with the Dragonslayers being pretty comparable in terms of piece count. I don't usually mind, but it took me a while to finish building these guys for the video.
I guess what I really need now is the big cannon dragon to top off this army that I'd never really planned on collecting!
