Mantic: Unboxing the resin KoW Vanguard Dwarf models!
67When Mantic first put Vanguard on Kickstarter I was a bit reluctant to order the dwarf set.
I remember the olden days of when the models just couldn't compare to the artwork and these guys were little more than sketches at the time. So I waited, the models came out, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw.
So I grabbed most of them- not all, but give me time!
As I have often said, Mantic's resin models have really improved over time, especially since they've brought it all in- house. Another plus is I think the stockiness of the dwarfs helps keep the level of detail high throughout the model range.
I was a bit surprised that the Packmaster had a few optional bits. That's always a nice touch when we can customize the models to our liking right out of the package.
Hopefully these will tide me over until the new plastic Abyssals arrive (they're on their way as I type this)!
