Manticore | The Apex Predator
476Man-eating monsters are always inherently scary, but then there are some, like the manticore, that seem made to be the ultimate killing machine! Said to roam in the lands between modern day Iran and the deep jungles of India, the manticore had a man's head with three rows of teeth in each jaw, a Lion body, with the tail of a scorpion, which was covered in venomous barbs that could be fired like arrows. The manticore has since become a fixture in dark fantasy and horror fiction, but some believe it's out there hunting in the darkest jungles, waiting for human prey!
