MAPPA Official Statement Justify Low Pay To Animators By Deflecting The Problem on Leak
4,914Studio MAPPA made a official statement earlier this morning about the whole controversy surrounding them the last few days. From some brief things you can get from the statement! MAPPA admits "Ippei Ichii" is an animator for MAPPA and definitely do pay low rates. To make things worse than before... MAPPA says yeah they pay low, but it doesn't matter since Animators accept it. Also I want to make it very clear this isn't just a Netflix / Studio MAPPA problem. This is the whole anime industry that is at fault.
