Marines & Mortars : 3v3 Call To Arms - Lets try this again.
123v3 with Handzy & Simers. Note the lag at 290ms. Lets try this again. This definitely plays different to the previous MOW titles. I am still waiting to see what they do with this game, remember it is still Alpha so it still has a while to go.. Though I like to do some initial comparison to compare it to AS2.. Might not be fair at this stage, though it will be interesting. At the moment I like the infantry lethality forcing less spam and charging. Forces you to think before you assault and makes it less grenade spammy. Though also makes it more campy. My biggest negative right now is there isn't much depth to play in terms of unit choice, counters and timings. Right now it is more tactical infantry movement game. It's mainly about positioning infantry to get the advantage in shootouts. Then snipers and mortars to turn the tide in your favour. I think the main issue right now it's too bare bones, they haven't implemented enough units to make it indepth. Which is fine... So I'll wait some more before I try the game again in the future. Hopefully it turns more strategic.
