This is the sixth wave of the Booster Course Pass, and to end it off are four new characters and two new cups, the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup. The Acorn Cup is a reference to the Super Acorn from New Super Mario Bros. U, and the characters that were added in the update were Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette. On the roster, the Villagers are not separate characters, same with the Inklings, and we also receive new Mii Costumes.
I take on the Acorn Cup on 150cc, and as I have went over in the last few Booster Course Pass videos, I have no plans to do 50cc or 100cc. The tracks for this one are Tour Rome Avanti, GCN DK Mountain, Wii Daisy Circuit, and Piranha Plant Cove, which was in Mario Kart Tour, even though it doesn't have "Tour" at the start of its name.
I use Diddy Kong, he is a light mediumweight character, in the same class as Cat Peach, Inkling Girl, and Villager (Girl). Diddy Kong's first appearance in the Mario Kart series was in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and to go over vehicle combinations, the first one is the standard set, the second one is Pipe Frame, Slim, and Parafoil, the third one is Sneeker, or Bounder, Blue Standard, and Super Glider, and the fourth is Yoshi Bike, Crimson Slim, and Super Glider. The vehicle combination I went with is P-Wing, Roller, and Parachute, at the time of recording this video, Super Mario Wiki had not updated with the vehicle combinations for the characters added in the 6th wave of the Booster Course Pass, and the one I went with was the closest I could come with for Diddy Kong.
Going over the courses, Rome Avanti, and I did read it was planned for the Feather Cup, but at the time the 5th wave came out, Rome Avanti was the most recent course added in Mario Kart Tour. DK Mountain was one of my favourite tracks from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, the track hasn't changed much from its previous appearances, but there is a wall at around the last turn, which prevents the shortcut from Double Dash!!, and it was planned to be the second course in the Cherry Cup. Next is Daisy Circuit, and it uses its appearance from Mario Kart Tour, even though it hasn't changed much from its appearance in Mario Kart Wii, and with its appearance, every track in the Star Cup in Mario Kart Wii have appeared in this game. The last track is Piranha Plant Cove, this course mostly takes place underwater, and I do like the music for this course, I would say it is one of my favourite Tour tracks added to this game.
