Here is the Extra Star Cup, and this one is unlocked after collecting 100 coins in the Star Cup after completing all five cups in this game. This one has three tracks from the Star Cup in Super Mario Kart, while the final track is the first track in the Special Cup. The following tracks are Vanilla Lake 1, Bowser Castle 3, Mario Circuit 4, and Donut Plains 3.
I use Toad for the Extra Star Cup, I have used every character, so there isn't really much to go over with the characters, but the tracks in the Star Cup are some of the more challenging courses. Vanilla Lake 1 uses the background for Snow Land, and not counting this game, Vanilla Lake has never appeared as a retro track in any Mario Kart game until Mario Kart Tour. Next is Bowser Castle 3, which uses the background from this game's Bowser Castle 1, and this one has some hazards removed, like Thwomps, and this is one of the harder Bowser Castle tracks in the game. Next is Mario Circuit 4, this is one of the longer tracks from Super Mario Kart, and this one uses the background from Peach Circuit, and last up is Donut Plains 3, which uses the background for Riverside Park, and a jump pad was added around the second bridge to make sure you don't have to fall into the lake, the Monty Moles that appeared in the original do not appear in this track.
