Mario Kart Wii - Galaxy Colosseum/Arena on WFC! + Code
No, this is NOT a custom track. I'm sure many people will look at me and say "Well, no shit Bean, of course it's not a CT.", but you'd actually be surprised just how many people don't know of this place's existence on the disc.
Galaxy Arena/Colosseum has been featured 3 times so far in Nintendo competitions/tournaments. The objective is simple: Get mushrooms from the provided boxes, and knock all of the topmen off the stage. The only way you're supposed to access this level at all is through competitions or tourneys, however it was made available for playing without through code over a year ago. The only problem? It wouldn't load in TT mode, and it couldn't be played online. Picking it online would cause the entire room to just lag out and eventually DC if your vote was going to win.
However, that's all fixed now! With this new code, it's possible to vote on Galaxy Arena on WFC and have it select the track successfully. But take note: ONLY PEOPLE RUNNING THE CODE WILL HAVE IT LOAD. Those who don't will lag out like before and eventually DC. But, if you ever felt like messing around with topmen in a friend room, now you can.
Amusingly, while normal people in Worldwide races cannot play the Galaxy Arena, they're perfectly able to join and see a live view of it (as demonstrated in the second half of this video). Ultimately quite useless but I wonder if we'll see videos of "OMFG GALAXY ARENA IN A LIVE VIEW :O :O :O" popping up everywhere? I'd be interested to see some :P
So, how did me and Chadderz end up creating this code? Well, as many custom track players know, we are running heavily short on space in the CTGP. Only 4 slots left, and there are at least 5 tracks competing for position. So, we were working on adding new courses to the disc and loading them with a new ID. This has worked, and with it, we can have up to 255 tracks loading. The only issue was making them work online. And this code doubles up as the solution to that problem. When the Wii checks the winning vote, it compares it to 1F (maximum normal track ID) and then if it's greater, runs a routine that eventually puts it on a strange loop, causing it to lag out (aka, invalid vote). Lower or equal, it just processes it. So, this short code just eliminates the check, so it'll go ahead and process it anyway. And with that, all invalid votes on WFC can now be processed by the Wii. Yes, you could probably make this code double up to load battle courses in VS mode online. Maybe not the other way round though, cause the check may be different.
Anyways, enough rambling; onto the code.

Only one line removes the check, the other (the lower one) is the Course Modifier code, courtesy of Volderbeek. Simple usage instructions: Select Mushroom Gorge and Galaxy Arena will be chosen in its place. You can't use it in TTs, but it'll work online now, friends only, all running the code. Or Worldwide if you fancy lagging for a few minutes waiting for a ton of people to DC.
I also recommend you get the following and use it with Riivolution (put it in the My Stuff folder):

This is a slightly modified version of Galaxy Arena. The original version will hang when 5 minutes have passed and eventually DC you, because it has no checkpoints and therefore can't work out who won. This version will not hang as it has checkpoints installed. You can apply Ocarina codes to Riivolution if you just Google the concept, it's not too hard to do.
Credit goes to mandermka for the modified version, as he provided me some old competition/tournament data, and I extracted some data for Galaxy Arena out of it to create it ;)
Known glitches/curiousities:
Topmen desync: Well, Nintendo never expected them to go online in the first place, so that's a given. Topmen only chase you, the active player, online; and since everyone sees topmen chasing them around, they're in different locations on everyone else's Wiis to yours.
Laps do work (modified version only): If you feel like getting laps, drive anticlockwise round the arena. The race won't last long if you do that, though.
Anyways, enjoy the video, and have fun!
