Elon Musk, the owner of the American company SpaceX, is also known for his vision. Now Musk is planning to soon build a prototype of a launch vehicle that will soon prove to be a game changer in space travel. Starship is a complete usable transportation system that will carry thousands of people to the moon.
When Elon Musk founded SpaceX, his plan was to make life possible on another star. Musk himself plans to travel on the moon in his life and wants to establish a human settlement on the moon. In terms of humans, they see the moon as Earth. That's why every experiment and every test at SpaceX is done with its own specifications in mind.
The rocket part of this system of Elon Musk and SpaceX is called Super Heavy while the gravity part is called Starship. Together these two form a 120 meter long system also known as Starship. Starships will be able to carry a lot of cargo or people to space, using methane as fuel. The starship will have 28 Raptor engines and will also have a refueling facility.
The starship will be tested in such a way that the superheavy will break away after reaching a predetermined altitude. From there it will return to the launch station. And the starship vehicle will arrive at the parking lot where it will be refueled. Here the starship will connect with another vehicle that is already there. This will make a trip to the moon possible.
It will take a total of 18 months to reach Mangalgraha. The forward part of the starship will have 40 cabins, in which a cabin can accommodate 5 to 6 people, but the first yatra will accommodate only two to three people. For example, there will be 100 people on a flight. The starship may also have a role in NASA's Artemis mission. Musk believes that Starship could also take people to codefront stars in the future.
Until now, parachutes or special vehicles were used to bring spacecraft back to Earth, which could land on runways. But the upper part of the SpaceX starship will first approach at an angle of 60 degrees. After that, it will be very slow coming back to earth. Apart from this, the vehicle will also use steel landing flaps. According to Musk, they are going to use a method that can be used on other stars as well.
