The Martian (Марсианка) Mouse (Мышь) was designed for the Elektronika BK0011 (Электроника БК0011) ... I think. I don't have one of these but I do have some MS0511 (МС0511) machines ... ?

This Soviet-era mouse dates from 1990 and originally cost 150 Soviet Rubles. At the official exchange rate at the time (US$1 = ₽1.6469) this was equivalent to about US$91 ... or about US$212 in 2023 dollars.

However, at the black market rate (US$1 = ₽20) the cost was only about US$7.50.

It has a ten-pin interface which I'm hoping to convert to DE9 ... maybe ... I don't yet know the protocol it uses ... bus or serial? ... let's see. I have scanned the documentation in and uploaded to Archive (where they will generate an OCR version) and also Github.
