With the Infinity War game update right around the corner and a lot of fun additions and changes seemingly incoming, I've been practicing a little so that I'm not too rusty when the release comes. And I just now realized that I've never played this game on the channel before. What the heck!?

Shadowcat has always been my favorite character in X-Men and I begged ZVitor for her for a while, and then she finally won a poll to enter the game. ZVitor himself said Shadowcat is one of the weaker characters, but nevertheless, I wanted to main her and be able to beat the entire game with just her. I like to believe if you love a character well enough, you can master them and make them feel as strong as the powerhouses. She's a ton of fun and definitely fits my playstyle of fast and evasive and I think (and hope!) I succeeded in making her look powerful and badass :)

Disclaimer: I had unlimited lives turned on for this playthrough (as I always do when recording, to make sure I can cover the entire game) so that's why my life count doesn't decrease when I die. It seems it wasn't necessary though as I underestimated myself, lol.

The game has a lot of issues that (so far) I don't see addressed in the coming update, such as:
- Too many enemies on screen for single player experience. Results in a lot of stunlocking moments and just general frustration, not being able to see where your character is on screen sometimes, etc. The current enemy count is what I would expect with full three or four players.
- Enemy attacks are too fast. Basic minions of all kinds have VERY fast punches, which makes the stunlock issue above even more of an issue, and it also means they can interrupt your movement and attacks before they come out, because you have way delay than they do. For example when I perform Shadowcat's "dodge"; more than likely she will still get hit because the second she is tangible again, an enemy punches her at lightning speed before I can press a button to attack/move away. In general, enemies just need to be slower in their animations (walking speed is fine).
- Too many enemy attacks knock the player down. Which combined with the above issue makes for a miserable experience sometimes. Nobody wants to spend half of their playtime on the floor waiting for their character to get up, only to have them instantly get knocked down again. Too many of the basic enemies are capable of this. And almost every boss has a very fast instant knockdown attack that you just can't really avoid unless you pull off a dodge but that's not always viable.
- Either hitboxes are too small or have no Z on them (you can swat at a enemy in front of you but miss them just because they're standing a couple pixels lower/higher than you. Z for all attacks should be at LEAST 15, or more for some attacks) and some enemies feel like their hurtboxes are too small. The dinosaurs are huge, yet I feel like they're harder to hit than regular enemies sometimes and I have zero idea why (they are also a big offender of the 'too fast instant knockdown attack').

That's not to say that this is a bad game by any means, but it has had these issues all the way back since Marvel First Alliance and they've never been addressed despite being brought up several times and it's really holding the game back from being a masterpiece.
