The grand finale of Insomniac’s Spider-Man, you’re given a new suit with a greatly useful Suit Power: Resupply, which refills your selected gadgets over time, very useful when combined with the Scavenger Suit mod. Doc Ock’s first few phases involve dodging his arms and using your gadgets to stun his arms so you can attack him.

Doc Ock likes to attack you with an arm thrust, a double arm slam attack, a horizontal slice attack and he also rips pieces of the Oscorp Tower apart to throw debris at you, it’s usually safe to throw something at him after he throws three things for you to dodge, If you try to Web Strike Otto after throwing something at him, he’ll be hit but hit him any more than once and he’ll counterattack and you’ll take damage, if you have any Focus then this is a good opportunity to use a Finisher on him mainly as a way to wait for your Web Shooters to recharge whilst dealing damage. Once the triangle (Y on PC if you use an XBox controller) prompt pops up after webbing and throwing stuff at him, it's your chance to combo.

Eventually, Otto will go up the tower and set the floor on fire, toss an object that Otto’s throwing back at him and hit the prompt. The second part is about more of the same, but it’s still a decent boss, wish he had slightly more HP though.

The third and final phase has you battling Doc Ock on the side of the building in a semi-scripted section where you have to dodge his arm attacks and mash the attack button, I don’t have much advice to offer here other than watch for your Spider Sense and dodge, and don’t bother trying to use your gadgets; Otto destroys your web shooters before this phase so you can’t use them.

I don’t think Otto’s the best boss in the game, but thematically I think it’s a good battle. If you’ve done everything that the game has to offer, you’ll be at level 50 before you reach this boss.
