This is Morrigan's theme from Marvel vs Capcom 1 using foobar2000's stereo convolver plugin with IRC_1037 HRIR for binaural audio (45 degree stereo spread). It's a little-known fact that Capcom's CPS-2 and CPS-3 arcade games were all made with binaural audio in mind. They used built-in QSound chips to create the illusion of "wider stereo" using just the cabinet's speakers. With stereo convolver plugins, it's possible to listen to these tracks on headphones the way Capcom originally intended on speakers. Morrigan's theme is not my favorite track from MVC1 let alone the vast CPS-2 library, but its bassline makes great use of stereo panning.
