Max Payne 1 All Weapons Showcase
511This is a demonstration of all the guns and weapons in Max Payne 1. I don't normally do videos like this, but I made it for WilsonC (developer of Trepang2) as an example of good sound design. Even though Max Payne 1 is nearly 18 years old, its sound design is just perfect. Every gunshot and explosion is completely over-the-top, which is befitting of a John Woo homage. Not only that, but every single sound fits its weapon so you don't end up with a 9MM pistol that sounds stronger than the sniper rifle like in Black on the PS2. Max Payne 2's sound design was not nearly as consistent as Max Payne 1's.
