Mashinky: The Mountain Ep 1 - We Have Passengers! [Gameplay - Signal Tutorial - Let's Play]
40Join me as I start another Mashinky playthrough. This time I am using a custom map with a HUGE mountain. It is going to present unique challenges as I will have to do plenty of terrain editing and earthworks along with a fair amount of bridge building.
In this episode, I start by laying track to two cities and then begin to transport passenger traffic between them. After those two cities are connected with train traffic, I add a third, larger city to the mix as well.

To accomplish the goals and tasks in this Mashinky play through tutorial video, I use a variety of chain/combo signals as well as regular block signals. These are used in Tee junctions and counterclockwise roundabouts, or turnarounds.

Mashinky is a train based tycoon game with an isometric grid-based map. It has two modes of play. One is a build mode that strips down the graphics to allow for a more convenient way to see what you are doing while constructing tracks. The second mode is a beautifully rendered "realistic" mode where you can view your train empire in all its glory. In this mode, you can even ride the trains in a ride-along mode.
