16Join me as I continue another Mashinky playthrough. This time I am using a custom map with a HUGE mountain. It is going to present unique challenges as I will have to do plenty of terrain editing and earthworks along with a fair amount of bridge building.

In this episode, "We Have SIde Rails!," I continue to grow my current coal, log and wood plank, and iron industries! But the train traffic at the tee junctions is getting a little heavy, so I put in some more side rails to supplement the main rail traffic corridor.
I also begin to start tackling the mountain as well near the end. There is a coal mine near the tool works that is very high up in the mountain. I do succeed in hooking it up to the main rail line, but I do have to do a ton of terraforming to do it. In fact, the path I make up to the coal mine looks a little ridiculous, but it works!

Mashinky is a train based tycoon game with an isometric grid-based map. It has two modes of play. One is a build mode that strips down the graphics to allow for a more convenient way to see what you are doing while constructing tracks. The second mode is a beautifully rendered "realistic" mode where you can view your train empire in all its glory. In this mode, you can even ride the trains in a ride-along mode.
