I had this idea pretty early in the LP, but didn't think I had the skills to pull it off, especially when I was still doing all of my work in VirtualDub. Avisynth gave me the tools to do complex editing, and more importantly, the ability to save my work and make the video over the course of several days. The only part that took much time was the gag where Alexander plays the flute. You can't actually do that in this part of the game, so I had to capture the animation elsewhere and overlay it onto the scene. I gave myself two weeks to figure out how to do it, and had it done in a matter of hours. Avisynth is powerful, y'all. I'm not entirely happy with every part of the video, but I think it generally works overall, and I just don't have it in me to try to redo any of it. It is what it is.
