Here it is, the triumphant beginning of the Mask of Eternity playthrough! This was my first time working with a virtual machine, CamStudio (probably the worst possible capture program), and live commentary. None of it is any good, but that's appropriate for the game in question. Mask of Eternity is a completely different type of game from the rest of the series, and its combat focus isn't helped by controls that are completely unsuited for combat. This first area, Daventry, at least has some resemblance to the older games in that you have to explore and collect stuff, most of which is money that won't be useful until halfway through the game. Settle in and try to enjoy.
