When it comes down to it, especially if you want to be relatively aggressive, the efficient way to get through encounters with Adept is to stick an elite with Singularity, and then use the next cooldown to ragdoll mooks with Pull while the Elite is still locked down. Usually the squad will have a stripper squadmate and one with Warp.
I considered going all in on Pull for this guide, but figured it would be too radical. However, there are a couple reasons why skipping Warp leveling to get Pull faster isn't bad. The first is that your pistol is good for armor stripping, and SMG is good for barrier stripping. The second is simply because Warp and Reave squadmates have better weapon training than Pull squadmates.
If you do want to stay further back and Warp bomb everything, it is still better to get Pull Field before Heavy Warp because the 100% ragdoll bonus to multiple lifted units is better than the difference between Rank 3 and Heavy Warp damage.
