Masters of Combat - 1993 - Become The Ultimate Fighter - Master System | Shortplay
Masters of Combat is a versus fighting game for the Sega Master System, released in 1993. It was later ported to the Sega Game Gear in Japan as Buster Fight. In Masters of Combat you choose one of the final four participants in the tournament and need to defeat your three opponents and yourself in a mirror match, before you can take on the final boss. Unlike most fighters, the game does not use "up" on the D-pad for jumping, but one of the other buttons, leaving one button for punches and kicks. It is considered by some players to be the best fighting game of the 8-bit era.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (screen ratio, not the internal resolution). I also use a shader that simulates a CRT Monitor with a S-Video filter signal, and over it i created a a 3d image of a game room with a TV from the 80s, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
