0:00 - usually trying to load Checkpoint 1 in any Chapter after having started "Checkpoint 0" glitch will result in banal results. However, in Chapter 14 something very unique happens.

The intro cutscene plays like normal, but then it cuts off suddenly as Max is escaping from the cops. Then you are instantly in Checkpoint 2 fighting off the first wave of enemies. So, this is a time save because it skips a part of the mandatory cutscene? If only!

0:35 - As a result of this small skip, there are no triggers or enemies in the rest of the level. So it's kind of like Checkpoint 0, even though the level seemed to start like normal and Max has weapons. Also, doors which are unlocked during Checkpoint 0 are currently locked. Playing onward in the level, you get stuck at the train terminal because no trains are running at the moment. Falling out of bounds is fatal, unlike during Checkpoint 0. Retrying takes you back to Checkpoint 2 that still refuses to load the rest of the level.

2:55 - an example of a more banal result: trying load Chapter 4-1 during this glitch results in an endless loading screen beyond a certain point.

3:17 - here's a more humorous side effect. When you try to retry during Checkpoint 0, seemingly nothing happens (other than you buffer another retry and perpetuate the glitch). However, retrying also resets Max's animations all of a sudden, resulting in weirdness. In this first clip, Max's roll is reset.

3:29 - resetting while going prone results in Max's legs going all numb. After that Max starts controlling a bit like Octodad, and it's almost impossible to move around in a sensible way.

3:55 - here's one movement tactic that slowly lets Max move to a direction. I'd like to test this mode ("crab Max" as findlestick calls it) in the main game some more...

4:37 - interrupting covering has some more subtle effects. Here's one of them: Max's turning causes his pose to mirror instead of a more organic animation.

4:47 - some more about interrupting covering. During this mode you can't roll (other than adjacent to the original cover) and can't cover again. Also, I have no idea why, but ramming against a table made Max die in this mode.
