11The horror, the horror! I go out of my way to use the shotguns in Max Payne 3 multiplayer with a pretty annoying hangover. Let me tell you: Forcing myself to use these guns didn't do anything to improve how I felt. Using a shotgun against the hordes of twitchy Mini-30 maniacs is like trying to swat a fly with a sewing needle. Chances are that unless you're very crafty (Or very lucky) you'll never get close enough for your shotgun to be worth using, and even if you do manage a kill you could've done it several times over with something more useful.
They are, however, extremely satisfying and result in hilarious ragdolls, so I'm going to keep one in my loadout for giggles. I also included some RPD action, because trying to use shotguns in a full Favela map is suicide.
