Max Payne 3 - retry glitches at Chapter 3 start
4Messing things up by retrying at a wrong time in Chapter 3.
0:00 - in Checkpoint 4, there's a guy that tries to ambush Max. After shooting him, there's a very small time window you can retry before the next cutscene starts. Doing this causes the torture scene to mess up as Passos and the tortured gang member are in idle poses. Things go back to normal once the next cutscene starts.
1:27 - in Checkpoint 5, you can glitch up the cutscene at the grey double doors. Max is invisible during a part of the cutscene and there are some glitchy characters hanging around the place. Sounds are also missing. After the cutscene, the fight starts, but the enemies are inactive or their bullets do nothing to Max Payne. Killing Passos causes a fake game over which does nothing. There's also a Passos clone around who can also be killed. You can run past the fight, but no triggers are loaded during the rest of the level, getting you stuck. You also can't normally continue on in the game because even if you kill everyone during the fight, nothing happens.
5:48 - Upon retry, there can still be some glitchy characters around.
6:06 - unloaded scenery at the end of Checkpoint 2.
6:17 - back to Checkpoint 4. Killing the wounded gang member when he is in idle stance makes him die in a curious way, holding his neck.
6:28 - killing Passos at the same time you activate the fight start cutscene forces a retry, but afterwards... Max is invisible! Unfortunately his brush with invisibility is cut short because the glitch ends once you get into the next fight.
7:27 - a glitch idea I had of shooting Passos after the game is made to retry. Nothing much happens for it, though.
